Makes enough for 10 guests

Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)

300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

Ingredients for the Premix (yields 850ml, serving 10)

400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Directions

For the Syrup: Combine the listed components inside a pot, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, turn off the stove and leave to cool down fully. Decant to a clean bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it will last for around four weeks.

Preparing the Cocktail Base: Combine every spirits and syrup into a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then pass it through , ideally through muslin, to ensure it's completely strained.

To serve: Measure 85ml of your cocktail base into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate lightly for one minute to chill. Filter to a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and finish with a brief mist of the essential oil above the glass.
